hello –
Im very very shocked, to say the least…
I have been on the computer for a few hours at work, researching sacred symbols for some murals im designing for the House of Blues Boston… when i stumbled upon your site. I searched for “visionary symbols” and found the piece you did of the extraterrestrial like woman with her hands above her head. I was very alarmed, for I have ALSO seen this exact image and sketched it in a dream journal. Lately ive been studying methods of opening communication between myself and the spiritual realm, and it is suggested that i keep a journal of all my visions and aural psychic experiences. This specific image appeared to me very very vividly while in the beginning stages of my evening meditation. Whats even more odd about me stumbling upon your site, is that i have not discussed this vision with anyone until yesterday – when I explained its impression on my mentality to a close friend.I would love to discuss this and probably other things to you if i can – my email is susydugan@gmail.com

I can’t tell you how much I love your art. You are a very big influence on my art. I love your imagination and being able to create something real from it is something I’ve always strived for in my paintings. Some people have discouraged my art because they say it is disturbing. Hello Gregory (or is it just Greg?)! I don’t know how many Gregory Pettits there are that create visionary art and are from Austin, but I’m pretty sure you’re the same Gregory Pettit that will be in the visionary show at LongHall Gallery at the end of this month. In that case, I hope you’re coming to the opening reception, I look forward to meeting you! Not only are you a visionary artist but you’re also a dreamer (oneironaut), two of my favorite interests.
