These symbols are an expression of the what I call the transpersonal language, which in simple terms could be described as the language which anyone can understand. The way that these symbols work as language, is by literally containing the essence of a particular state of transpersonal realization, thus having the ability to spark or facilitate that very state in whoever looks at them.

Mark Henson has proclaimed a lifetime mission to create art that is filled with positive imagery surrounding lovemaking. His imagery combines tantric, taoist, deep ecological and spiritual themes in a gorgeous expression of the harmonious potentials of life in Gaia’s gardens.

Art is like giving new life to things which already exist, only filtered by the artists mind. But I am learning right now, that this process of filtering out, is the essential lesson an artist has to learn. To pick things out of unlimited possibilities, arrange them in a new way, to give new meaning to them, and their own autonomy.
